Kakashi dove to the side, narrowly missing the kunai and shuriken that had been launched at him.  He took a second to check his surroundings.  Naruto had a clone next to him, and he was getting his rasengan ready.  Sakura was fighting in front of Naruto to give him time.  A dark figure launched itself at her, but sasuke threw paper bombs in his path, stopping the rival ninja dead in his pursuit.
     Kakashi's opponent was raging towards him at an alarming rate.  Kakashi waited patiently for the opportune moment and punched the foe square in his face, sending him spiraling backwards a couple of yards.  Kakashi looked to his left to find Shikamaru and Ino doing their best attempt of their Ino-Shika-Cho fomation without Choji, who had somehow landed himself in the hospital with really bad indegestion AGAIN.  They seemed to be getting along well enough.
     Two other enemy ninjas came at Kakashi from two different directions.  Kakashi jumped into the air at the last moment and the two ninjas collided head over heal with eachother.
     'Oh please...' Kakashi thought to himself, 'These ninjas are complete novices. How is this a B-rank mission?'  He knocked a couple of ninjas' heads together and looked at Kurenai's team.
     Kiba was demonstrating Fang Over Fang for the enemies.  Shino and Hinata were sort of fighting side by side while cheering Kiba on. Well, not Shino, but he was giving a supportive look. Not that anyone could see it under his sunglasses (except for Kakashi of course, because he's just awesome like that.)
The Sand Sibs were joining the fight, particularly helping Team 10 since there were only two of them.
     Team Gai, on the other hand, had all four teamates.  Lee and Gai were fighting back-to-back as though it were a contest.  Kakashi was sure that he could hear Gai's voice:
     "That's 1,320 for me, Lee!"
     "I am afraid that I have only defeated 1,319 enemies, Gai-Sensei!"
     "When we get back to Konoha, 1,000 laps!"
     "But Sensei! I deserve 2,000!"
     "You're absolutely right, Lee, so we'll do 3,000 on our hands!"
     "Yes sir!"
     Kakashi sweatdropped then looked over at Neji and Tenten who were a few feet away from the immediate action.  Tenten was pulling out all the stops, using every weapon she could possibly summon, and Neji had his Byakugan activated and was directing Tenten while poking the chakra out of every opponent that came his way.
     He looked back at his own team who seemed to be fairing well enough without him.  Their opponents pulled out something from their shuriken holsters.  Kakashi squinted to see better. 'Smoke bombs! But these looked different...'
     Kakashi poofed over to where his team was just as the bombs went off.
     'What's this?!' Sakura thought, her adrenaline pumping.  She jumped immediately out of the smoke. 'Where were the others?'
     Kakashi lifted his headband all the way up to use his Sharingan.  Naruto was still trying to fight the enemies through the smoke.  Kakashi was going to get him, but Sasuke came back out of no where and grabbed the knuckle-head.  Kakashi poofed out of the smoke.
     Naruto felt someone grab the back of his shirt and started struggling. Then Sasuke shouted over the commotion, "Naruto, you loser! It's me. Let's get out of here."
     Naruto nodded, then realized Sasuke couldn't see it and choked out a "yeah."
     Neji and Tenten were out of the smoke because it didn't reach them, but Gai and  Lee were still in the smoke.  Neji was searching for them with his Byakugan, but he could only see Lee.  Neji leaped in and pulled him out of the confusion.  Now where was their sensei?
     Kankuro and Ino had been pushed to the side-lines during the fight.  They were away from the smoke and calling out to there teamates.  Said three, however, were in the very most center of the smoke, and for all the calling Kankurou and Ino did, they couldn't find their way to the edge.
     Shino was out, of course, BEFORE the smoke bombs were even set off!  HA!  Oho, he was good!  Not that he would gloat about it or nothing...
     Kiba was collapsed on the ground in exastion from all the chakra he had drained.  Hinata was desperately trying to pull him out.  Why wasn't Shino helping them?!
     The smoke finally cleared, the enemy ninjas had long took their flight, and our heroes were left with...
